Chekhov: Three Sisters (Saturdays)

This 5-week course is for actors who wish to engage in scene work through the vivid, layered world of Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters and the Non Dominant lens In this fall iteration of Broken Mirror’s Exploring Chekhov series, we’ll work exclusively from Three Sisters. Week one will be a full group reading of the play, followed by four weeks of NDA-based scene work. This course is an opportunity to return to (or introduce yourself!) to one of the great playwrights of the 19th century; to reveal character through honoring their humanity as well as your own, and dedicating to a relationship of practice.
