Service Description

Unleash the potential of embracing your inner clown to explore human connection and play. In this month-long exploration, participants will delve into the art of clowning and unlock its principles through a series of lessons, games, and improvisations. This program provides actors with valuable skills in improvisation, physical comedy, and audience interaction, leading to a more memorable and engaging performance. This training goes beyond mere silliness - it's a valuable tool for performers seeking to infuse their craft with spontaneity and joy. Brooke Shilling Born and raised in New York City, Brooke holds a BFA in Acting from Ithaca College and an MFA in Devised Performance from The University of the Arts/Pig Iron School in Philadelphia. NOTE: For the sake of financial sustainability, Broken Mirror is adapting its pay-what-you-decide model. 50% of the student roster will still be able to pay what they decide, the remaining 50% of the class will pay full price. Wix cannot accept payment online with a Pay-What-You-Decide model. So if you would like to attend class but cannot pay the full tuition, reach out and you'll be able to pay via venmo, zelle, or cash.
